Above The Rest (ATR) General Construction, LLC is a construction/general contracting company located in Southfield, Michigan. The Company provides a range of services including, but not limited to, complete carpentry, selective demolition, skilled labor contracting, design build, and commercial renovations.
ATR was formed in 2004 by husband and wife partners, Bruce and Lisa Washington. Bruce started the Company with 20 years of carpentry and commercial construction experience. He serves as President of ATR and directs daily site operations.
Lisa supplemented ATR with 18 years of accounting and office management experience. She serves as Co-Owner and Business Manager.
ATR is a member of the Better Business Bureau [link] and the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce [link]. The Company is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) through the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation [SMART], Michigan Department Of Transportation [MDOT], and Detroit Department Of Transportation [DDOT] agencies. Also, ATR is in the process of applying for the Small Business [SBA] and Minority Business Enterprises [MBE] certifications.
